He has reportedly accepted a $6 million, five-year contract with Penrith Panthers' rival the Wests Tigers from 2025, but it's yet to be finalised.
Luai is understood to have told his Penrith Panthers teammates about the contract, as a new 'cooling off' period dictates that he has to notify his club 10 days before the deal is finalised.
The athlete, who won three premierships in a row with the team, shares three children with Toleafoa: Izzy, Akira and Halo.
