Jackie 'O' claims she travelled all the way to New York to interview a major star who went to the toilet and 'never came back'

Radio host Jackie 'O' has recalled an awkward encounter with an A-list star.

The KIIS FM star, 47, told the story to her co-host Kyle Sandilands on their morning show that she travelled from Australia to New York to interview music pioneer Sean Combs, better known as P. Diddy or Puff Daddy.

But the interview was over before it even began.

"I flew all the way to interview him [from Australia]," she recalled on air.

"He was there, he sat down and said, 'I need to go to the toilet' and he never came back!"

Sandilands laughed, replying, "Oh, you fell for that!"

"That was the only reason I flew all that way," Jackie 'O' added.

"Did you have open toe shoes on? Maybe it was a foot thing?" Sandilands joked before Jackie 'O' assured her co-host that she wasn't.

This isn't the first time the KIIS FM duo have looked back on embarrassing interviews they've been involved with. Last month, Kyle and Jackie 'O' both agreed that their worst celebrity interview was with Friends actor Matt LeBlanc.

"Remember when we had Matt LeBlanc on? Oh, that didn't go well," Sandilands recalled on air.

"That was for Top Gear years ago, and it was a terrible interview. But he's notoriously bad in interviews," Henderson explained.

"Who cares? He was very arrogant and then he had to get hung up on and sworn at," Sandilands quipped. "And then banned from ever coming back again. Worst interview in the world!"

The pair then discussed LeBlanc's Friends character, Joey Tribbiani, who infamously used the pick-up line, "How you doin'?"

'"How you doin'?" That gets old! You can't just walk around [saying], "How you doin'?" It's bulls--t!' Sandilands mocked, to which Henderson replied: "He should have dropped that line. It wasn't funny."
