Harry Potter actress Scarlett Byrne Hefner and her Playboy heir husband Cooper Hefner are expecting twins

Scarlett Byrne Hefner, the actress best known for her role as Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter series, is expecting twins with her husband, Playboy heir Cooper Hefner.

The 30-year-old is already mother to 15-month-old daughter Betsy Rose with the son of Hugh Hefner and the couple are set to welcome two more babies to the brood in March 2022.

"Both Scarlett and I could not be happier to continue the adventure of parenting together," Cooper, 30, told People.

The pair also shared news of the pregnancy on their respective Instagram profiles with a sweet family photo.

"Thankful for our growing family. Cooper and I are very excited to share that we will be welcoming twins at the beginning of 2022. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving," Scarlett wrote.

Cooper wrote in a similar post: "Scarlett and I will be welcoming two new members of the family this spring. We couldn't be happier as we wait on the arrival of our twins."

Scarlett played Pansy Parkinson in the final three instalments of the Harry Potter franchise and is also known for her role as Nora Hildegard in The Vampire Diaries.

Cooper is the son of late Playboy icon Hugh Hefner and his second wife Kimberley Conrad.

He also worked as a reservist in the United States Air Force and is running for the US state senate as a Democrat.

Scarlett and Cooper married in November 2019 and welcomed their daughter Betsy Rose in August 2020, named after Cooper's maternal grandmother.
