Gwyneth Paltrow on her '90s romance with Brad Pitt: 'He was too good for me'
Gwyneth Paltrow has dished the dirt on why things didn't work out with Brad Pitt.
Listen to the interview with Howard Stern above to hear the 42-year-old explain why he was just "too good for her".
The star, who dated Brad, 51, after meeting on the set of Seven in 1994, also slammed rumours that she was the one who broke her engagement to the Hollywood heartthrob three years later.
"It's not true," she laughed.
She also touches on her former romance with Ben Affleck, revealing he wasn't mature enough for a relationship.
Gwyneth dated Ben, 42, on and off between 1997 and 2000, but says they split because he "wasn't in a good enough place" for a girlfriend.
"I'm friends with him still," she added. "He's settled down and his wife [Jennifer Garner] is awesome."
But if all this chit chat about exes wasn't awkward enough, Howard then asks about the weird "conscious uncoupling" terminology of her divorce announcement last year with Chris Martin.
"I made a mistake," she said. "I didn't give it context. But it is a goofy term."
After all that, Gwyneth was actually on the radio show to chat about her new role in Mortdecai alongside Johnny Depp. Check out the trailer below…
Mortdecai hits Australian cinemas on January 29, 2015. vote 'want to see' or 'not interested' here.
