Guy Sebastian forced to postpone tour dates after testing positive for COVID-19 amid court case
Guy Sebastian has been forced to postpone some upcoming shows in Queensland.
The Australian singer, who yesterday testified in a Sydney courtroom against his former manager, announced on Thursday he had tested positive for COVID-19.
"I'm so gutted to release this statement," he told fans on Instagram.

"With regret, the upcoming Guy Sebastian Cairns T.R.U.T.H show scheduled for Tuesday 10th May and the upcoming Townsville show, scheduled for the 11th May will be rescheduled due to Guy Sebastian testing positive to Covid-19 on the afternoon of Thursday 5th May," the statement said.
"I was so looking forward to performing in Cairns & Townsville next week. I am so sorry to disappoint my fans and I promise to do something even more special once I'm able to perform as a thank you for your patience and understanding."
All ticket holders to the Cairns and Townsville shows are being notified of the postponement via email and are being asked to hold onto their tickets, with new dates to be announced soon.
The rest of the tour remains as scheduled, with Sebastian set to resume his concerts from Friday, May 13 on the Gold Coast.

"Touring in these times is certainly challenging however what will always remain a number one priority is the safety and wellbeing of our artists, fans, touring crew and venue staff," TEG Live managing director Tim McGregor said of the announcement.
"I can assure you that we are working hard to confirm the rescheduled dates and ticket holders will be notified shortly. We look forward to getting the show back on the road as soon as possible."
