'Game of Thrones' Season 8 ending reportedly leaks and fans are not happy

There are only two more episodes of Game of Thrones to go -- ever. So beware: spoilers are coming. (Not in this article, though.)

In fact there are thousands of fans who believe they may have had a major plot point for Episode 5 ruined for them after a minute-long preview was leaked online and made its way to Twitter. And they're not happy about it.

According to The Sun, the preview reportedly showed crucial scenes from the upcoming battle at King's Landing between Cersei (Lena Headey) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) -- and showed enough that fans were able to work out the fates of some of the characters, and an ending they're not satisfied with.

"I've seen the leaked episode 5 and and it's the worst ending in tv history if people don't believe me go to reddit and Twitter and type Game Of Thrones leaks and you'll see and they posted leaks 5 days ago and everything on the leaked script came true in Episode 4," bemoaned one fan on Twitter.

"The budget of a small country, the cast of the century, and a Goliath of a network behind you and you still manage to botch the would be best tv show in history. That's some goddamn accomplishment in itself!! Ah and those ending leaks! What a shambles!!" complained another.

Fans believe the footage they've seen is from the real episode, and not a fake, since spoilers about previous episodes turned out to be true.

The official teaser for Episode 5 reveals… not very much, not even the name of the episode, something the showrunners and HBO have withheld for the final season.

It basically shows the main players at King's Landing -- Cersei, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) and Tyrion Lannister -- preparing for battle. Daenerys is nowhere to be seen, but towards the end of the trailer Euron is shown looking up into the sky as a dragon screeches…

One thing we know for sure: By May 20, we'll all know the ending. Until then, we can always speculate with the most popular fan theories, and these vague quotes the actors have said.
