'Game of Thrones' actress Bella Ramsey says she's banned from watching the 'gruesome' HBO show

SPOILER ALERT: Do not read this if you haven't watched the third episode of Game of Thrones' final season.

It seems the whole world is hanging for the final episodes of Game of Thrones, but not one of its stars, Bella Ramsey.

Due to the nature of the popular HBO series, 15-year-old Ramsey has been banned by her parents from watching the "gruesome" show.

In fact, the only segment she's been allowed to watch was when her character Lyanna Mormont was killed off last week during the heart-stopping Battle of Winterfell.

In the scene, Ramsey -- who joined the series in 2016 -- looked on as her onscreen alter ego stabbed the orc with a dragonglass blade as she was dying.

"I was allowed to see myself being killed last Sunday and I've watched a bit of Season 7," the British actress told UK paper The Daily Star. "[But] I'll probably watch it all when I'm 18. Even the episodes I have seen, there have been some parts where Mum and Dad just stand in front of me to block me seeing anything too gruesome on screen."

So what did the teenager think of the way she was killed off on the series?

"I was pretty excited. I think it's a great death. If you're going to die on Game Of Thrones, at least die well," said Ramsey of Lyanna's death, in which viewers could hear the gruesome ways her bones were crushed as she plunged a dagger into the giant zombie's eye in her final moments.

"I was in a harness for that and I got pulled sideways on to a crash mat," Ramsey explained. "There have been so many deaths in the series, so I was happy to be given the ending I got. It was heroic, which I'm very grateful for."
