Fans beg Enrique Iglesias to delete ‘immoral’ video of him kissing fan on-stage

Fans are begging Enrique Iglesias to “delete” his latest social media clip of him having a highly affectionate interaction with a fan.
The Spanish superstar, 51, resurfaced the four-year-old video himself, seemingly in an effort to spruik his current global tour. In the clip he passionately embraces and kisses the fan on the cheek and lips while she snaps a selfie.

Iglesias posted the video, originally from a 2022 Las Vegas meet and greet, to his 18.4 million followers, simply captioning it with his official website address.

While the king of Latin pop didn’t have much else to say about the video, fans in the comment section certainly did.
Many criticised the move as “disrespectful” to Iglesias’ partner of 25 years, former tennis player Anna Kournikova, 44, with whom he shares twins Nicholas and Lucy, eight, daughter Mary, six, and son Romeo, six months.
“Enrique, please delete this video; people’s opinions about it are not good,” one concerned fan wrote.
“Even though I absolutely love this man as an artist, I do feel there are certain boundaries that should not be crossed.. idk it feels immoral…” added another.
A third commented: “We’ve already seen this video, but out of respect for Ana, you shouldn’t share it. We know that she knows and accepts it but better to respect.”
Others defended the post, and one fan wrote: “We don’t know the dynamics they have nor the agreements that exist within their relationship. If they both agree with these types of situations and Anna is not affected, then good for them.”

Iglesias is known for his PDA-heavy fan engagements with the songwriter often pulling them up on stage or getting up close at meet-up events.
While not everyone agreed Iglesias’ behaviour was appropriate for a man in a long-term relationship, the Baliando hitmaker has revealed wife Kournikova is unbothered by it.
In a 2024 interview on SiriusXM’s FYI Show, Iglesias revealed that Kournikova doesn’t get jealous.
“Anna will be at one of my shows and I’ll do that. I do that all the time – I love embracing, kissing and hugging my fans. I like getting close up,” he said.
“A lot of times she [says], ’Man, I always get this look from some of the girls... and they’ll ask, ‘Are you OK with it?’ Yeah, I’m totally cool he’s onstage. He’s embracing his fans,’” Iglesias continued.
“I just love to get so much love from my fans and know that if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be where I am.”
Iglesias said his affection for his fans is because he owes his success to them. Getty
Iglesias and Kournikova first met in 2001 on the set of his Escape music video, going public with their relationship in 2002 walking the MTV VMA’s red carpet hand in hand.
Despite their long relationship and several engagement rumours, the couple have never been married.
The duo have both spoken about their decision not to marry several times, with Iglesias opening up in a 2012 interview, sharing that he “never really thought [it] would make a difference.”
