AFL star Elliot Yeo and fiancée Tess Goodbody are expecting their first baby

AFL star Elliot Yeo and his fiancée Tess Goodbody are going to be parents!

The engaged couple celebrated Mother's Day sharing the exciting news that they're expecting their first baby together this year.

"Littlest Yeo, coming September '24," Goodbody captioned the sweet announcement post on Instagram.

In the first photo, the pair posed together with their two dogs while Yeo held up a sonogram and Goodbody cradled her noticeable baby bump in a bodycon dress.

In another photo posted by the couple they celebrated the baby news with an adorable heart-shaped cake with the words "Coming September 2024" piped in icing.

The announcement post was quickly flooded with messages of congratulations from family and friends for the West Coast Eagles star and his fiancée.

"Congrats mate!❤️" Collingwood player Jack Crisp commented.

"Awesome news mate congratulations," former West Coast Eagles player Mark LeCras wrote under the post.

"Awesome news mate, Welcome uncle speedy @cjyeo91," former West Coast Eagles star Fraser McInnes said, tagging and extending the congratulations to Yeo's brother Corey.

Another former West Coast Eagles player Brent Staker congratulated Yeo on the news.

"Mum & Dad 💗 So excited to meet precious baby Yeoy. Love you fam," Courtney Darling, wife of Yeo's teammate Jack Darling commented.

The exciting life update comes just months after the couple announced they were engaged.

Yeo and Goodbody revealed they were engaged in a heartwarming Instagram post in in December 2023.

"Always been you 🤍 25•12•2023," Goodbody captioned the announcement, showing off a close up of her sparkling diamond ring on her left hand.

In another photo the pair looked smitten as Goodbody posed with her arm around the footy star's shoulder while they smiled for the camera.

A couple of weeks later the bride-to-be shared some more photos of her engagement ring while spending time with Yeo and their friends.

"End of the silly season, with a side of engagement 🍾" she captioned the post.

The long-time couple have been linked since 2015 and over the years have shared snippets of their life to social media, including when they attended the 2023 JW Medal.
