When announcing her pregnancy, the singer also went for the old-school magazine reveal, showcasing a large bump in Vogue when she was already 30 weeks along.
"It was crazy because it was our one-year anniversary. That was not the plan," Goulding told the magazine.
"The thought of getting pregnant didn't seem like it could be a reality. Becoming pregnant kind of made me feel human."
"I want a better word than womanly, [but]—I have curves I've never had before," she added. "I'm enjoying it. My husband's enjoying it."
As for why she waited until her third trimester to announce the news, Goulding said she "needed time to get my head around it".
