Opening up about this new chapter of her life and finding love again in a December episode of her podcast, Pullin admitted that there were times when she did feel guilty for being so happy.
Pullin said she knew Wadsworth for “years” before they dated, and explained he’s her good friend’s brother.
Pullin admitted that initially she accidentally led her new boyfriend on, knowing she didn’t want anything serious.
Wadsworth turned up halfway through a group Bali trip after an invite from Aussie DJ Paul Fisher, who is married to Darling, Shine! podcast co-host Chloe Fisher.
Pullin has previously spoken about how hard it was at first to navigate a new relationship and the guilt of moving forward. Instagram
But she confessed it wasn't the perfect start, admitting it took a long time for her to want to date him, citing her own fears and anxieties that she "didn't want to hurt him."
“I was making things up in my head [about why he wasn’t my person], now I’m just like all of those things were in my head... I was just scared of my feelings,” she said.
Despite things fizzling out initially, they both ended up in Europe at the same time months later and he flew to London to see her – which is when she realised that she had actually missed him and things changed.
Elsewhere in the podcast episode she explained it was hard to navigate her grief and guilt about the passing of her late partner while they were dating.
Pullin and Chumpy dated since 2012, but he tragically died in 2020 in a spearfishing accident. Instagram
“Chumpy passed away five years ago. Grief is absolutely f---ed,” Pullin confessed.
“Of course, I love Chumpy, I still love him so much. I’ll never not love him.”
The couple had been dating since 2012 but never married, so she legally changed her surname to Pullin after his death in 2020 in his honour.
Pullin welcomed her ‘miracle’ daughter, Minnie, in October 2021. She was conceived via IVF using sperm retrieved from her late partner, and born 15 months after his death.
