Elise Stacy claims 'The Bachelor' was 'staged' in candid chat with fans
Perhaps everything is not as it seems?
The Bachelor runner up Elise Stacy got very candid in an Instagram Q&A with fans Friday, where she confirmed that aspects of the show were created solely for the cameras.
Stacy, 29, asked her fans what they wanted to know more about her life, to which one asked point blank: "Was 'The Bachelor' staged?"
Stacy memorably came in second place to Laura Byrne on Matty Johnson's season of the dating show. But nonetheless, she answered as gracefully as anyone could in her position.
"Some parts yes. I'm sure they were. My feelings no. Feels like a lifetime ago!!!" she replied.
She previously told News.com.au she felt Johnson led her on, and she was "pissed off" watching the show back.
"I was made to feel like it was a very hard decision for him but, later on, I felt pissed off watching it," said Stacy, who has since moved on with boyfriend Justin Kosmin.
"Knowing he knew when I told him that I loved him, that he didn’t love me back. Man, I would've loved then and there for him to say, 'It's not you.'"
