Former child star Dylan Sprouse and Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin welcome first child together

Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin and actor Dylan Sprouse have welcomed their first child together.

Palvin, 32, and Sprouse, 34, made the sweet announcement via Instagram, it came just months after the actor confronted an alleged home intruder in their Los Angeles property.

In the announcement photo, the new family wore matching Los Angeles Dodgers baseball jerseys as they watched the game with their backs turned to the camera.

“We took Labor Day literally this year👼🏻,” the caption read.

Another photo, posted to Palvin’s Instagram story, showed Sprouse holding his daughter as she wears an oversized Dodgers hat and tiny Dodgers’ jersey.

“Daddy’s girl already,” the new mum wrote.

The actor and model, who were wed in 2023, revealed that they were expecting their first child while attending the 79th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

Just weeks before their pregnancy announcement, Sprouse confronted an alleged home intruder in their Los Angeles property.

The trespasser was arrested on site, although authorities have not publicly identified him.

The then-pregnant Palvin reportedly spotted “a creepy guy,” on the lawn and made a call to police about a trespasser and attempted burglary at 12.30 am on April 17, according to multiple US outlets.

It was also reported that the police said the offence was closer to trespassing than a break-in attempt; however, the pair reportedly didn’t want the man charged with trespassing.

The couple confirmed the break-in at the New York City premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2, taking it all in their stride.

“We’re laughing about things the moment they happen,” Palvin said at the time.

"You got to have levity in life. Thankfully, no one was hurt and there was no more violence than what happened. So, it's all OK."

After the internet learned that Palvin was pregnant, fans broke into a frenzy praising Sprouse for tackling the home intruder and “protecting his family.”

Sprouse and Palvin were married in Hungary in July, 2023.

Rumours started swirling in March 2023 that Sprouse had proposed to Palvin after almost five years of dating.

But it wasn't until June 2023 when the couple commented on the speculation, confirming they were, in fact, married by gracing the cover of V Magazine's Autumn 2023 issue in full bride and groom attire.

It was in the accompanying issue that the couple opened up about their engagement.

“We didn’t necessarily feel the need to be fully transparent with the public about that aspect of our engagement,” Sprouse told his twin brother Cole Sprouse, who conducted the interview.

He proposed to Palvin in September 2022 and kept it a secret until June 2023.
