Dakota Johnson says she doesn’t think Taylor Swift will ever share images from her wedding

Dakota Johnson has revealed the grim truth of Taylor Swift’s wedding, sharing that she doesn’t think her close friend will ever release images from inside the event.

Speaking on BBC Radio 1, Johnson chatted with Greg James about the wedding before sharing the news that no Swiftie wanted to hear.

As James told Johnson he was also at the wedding, the two begun discussing the event and how great it was.

“It was so fun, it was so, like, everything she’s dreamed of,” Johnson said.

Then, James asked her the question every Swiftie has been dying to know the answer to.

“Do you think any of the photos are going to ever come out from that wedding?” he asked.

To which, Johnson simply responded, “No”.

It’s now been nearly three months since Swift and Kelce said I do inside Madison Square Garden on July 3.

The wedding was attended by around 1000 friends and family members, with no one allowed to bring a phone inside.

Fans have since waited patiently for Swift to release images from inside the event with plenty of speculation surrounding the look of the dress and the setup of the event.

But, if Johnson’s words are anything to go by, it looks like fans will be waiting much longer than expected for the Swift-Kelce wedding photos.

Swift and Johnson have been close friends for a decade now, with Swift penning a profile for the actress when she was listed as one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2026.

“As her friend, I can vouch for her realness,” Swift wrote.

“But add that she’s also one of the most empathetic people I’ve ever known.”

Johnson also starred in Swift’s most recent music video for Patient Zero, alongside Colin Farrell. She revealed to James that the project had been in the works since the start of 2026.

“I want to thank @dakotajohnson and Colin for trusting me with their time, taste, and talent,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post following the video’s premiere at the 2026 VMAs.

“(Giggling with your friend because you’re twinning for an entire shoot was a new and truly delightful experience).”
