Aussie model Lindy Klim on moment she found daughter on side of the road
Australian model Lindy Klim recounted the moment she found her teenage daughter on the side of the road after suffering a medical emergency in Bali.
Lindy, 48, shared the news on her Instagram story, revealing daughter Stella, 19, had suffered a seizure while on the back of a motorbike, which threw her from the bike, leaving her badly bruised and scraped.

In her posts, Lindy revealed that she was riding just behind Stella when the incident happened.
“My poor baby suffered another seizure while on the back of a motorbike, luckily she was wearing her helmet,” the post started.
“I was two minutes behind her and found her on the side of the road.”
“Scariest few minutes of my life,” she continued. “She came off pretty banged up, gravel rash everywhere. She’s okay and it could have been so much worse.”
“So grateful,” she finished, before calling her daughter a “trooper” because she insisted on not missing the sunset.
“So here we are at the most special place.” she wrote.
Stella, who is the daughter of Lindy Klim and Olympic swimmer Michael Klim, opened up about her epilepsy journey on her Instagram just one week ago.

In the video, she said she had gone two months without having a seizure, but confessed her last seizure really shook her.
She admitted the condition took a psychological toll on her, saying she didn’t even want to leave the house, out of fear of it happening again.
“The seizure ended and I recovered, but the fear of it potentially happening again definitely did not,” she said.
“I stopped doing all the things I love. I was turning down jobs. Didn’t even feel like putting on a cute outfit. I stopped seeing friends. I stopped replying to friends. I started cancelling, which is unheard of. I lost all motivation. I’ve lost all confidence,” she said.

“I’d be home alone and be like, ‘Oh, I’ve had a seizure for sure’ – I had this paranoia of being like, ‘Oh my God, am I having seizures every day, all day, and people aren’t telling me because I can’t remember anything?’”
She went on to say home became her safe place, but she was trying to “slowly find that girl again,” and get her confidence back.
While Stella was in Bali on holiday, she had spent most of her life there after her family moved to Indonesia when she was a child.
