My Best Friend's Wedding starts with the lines of a song singing "wishing and hoping and thinking and praying".

And fans "wishing and hoping" for a sequel to the '90s rom-com are having their prayers answered as star of the movie Dermot Mulroney says he'd be up for making part two.

Building on comments made recently by Julia Roberts, 56, labelling it as the film from her past she'd most like to make a sequel of, the 60-year-old actor said: "I'm in".
