Daniel Radcliffe reveals the ego-packed advice Donald Trump gave him before his first TV interview at age 11
When Donald Trump met Harry Potter, he didn't care much for broomsticks and magic. Why would he? He only cares about two things: DONALD and TRUMP.
That's what Daniel Radcliffe found out when he met the Republican presidential candidate and then-Apprentice host backstage before his first-ever talk show appearance at just 11 years old.
Daniel, 26, recounted the bizarre story on Late Night with Seth Meyers, sharing how "terrified" he was to go on the Today show for his live-TV debut.
So, little D-Rad confessed to fellow guest Donald, 70, that he didn't know what to say on TV.
Donald's advice? "You just tell them you met Mr Trump." Yes, he really said that.
"To this day, I can't even relate to that level of confidence," Daniel added. "[To think] 'I am interesting enough to be everyone's story'."
If only Harry Potter was running for President…surely a boy wizard could trump Trump?
