AFL great Dale 'Daisy' Thomas marries Natasha Bongiorno in stunning rural ceremony: 'Mr and Mrs Thomas'

AFL great Dale 'Daisy' Thomas is a married man, having tied the knot with long-term partner Natasha Bongiorno over the weekend.

The retired star, 36, married Natasha in a stunning ceremony in country Victoria, at Mount William Station.

Natasha, who has officially changed her last name on Instagram to her new married name, shared a picture of the pair together as newlyweds and captioned it: "MR AND MRS THOMAS ❤️."

She also shared a video from their big day on her socials, writing: "THIS IS A DREAM."

For her big day, the new Mrs Thomas stunned in two dresses, a flowing white gown featuring a bustier top and a matching vale for the ceremony.

For the reception, she changed into a figure-hugging and semi-sheer lace gown.

Thomas meanwhile, looked dapper in a black tuxedo and bowtie.

Well-wishes came from the likes of Rebecca Judd, who wrote: "Gorge <3 <3"

Braith Anasta added: "Congrats brother <3."

The couple announced their engagement in November 2022.

"Well… it's about time," he wrote in his post announcing the news.

He popped the question with a stunning diamond ring at the Lake House in Daylesford.

He reportedly has a daughter, Tilly, from a previous relationship.

Thomas hails from Drouin, Victoria, and played for Collingwood and Carlton throughout his career.

He played in Collingwood's first pick draft in 2005.

In 2020, he made a TV appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

He retired from AFL in 2019 after playing 258 games.

He said at the time, according to Fox Sports: "I have experienced so much in my career since walking in as a blond-haired kid from Drouin back in 2005.

"The opportunity to live out my boyhood dream for the last 14 years has been incredible, I am proud of everything I've been able to achieve.

"While the end has come quickly, I have no regrets whatsoever and am looking forward to these last two weeks, especially playing at the 'G for the last time in front of our fans."

He also previously said he struggled with his weight after retiring and during the covid-19 pandemic. He reportedly then lost 10kg.
