AFL great Dale 'Daisy' Thomas and wife Natasha announce they're expecting their first child together: 'We love you so, so much'

AFL great Dale 'Daisy' Thomas and wife Natasha (née Bongiorno) tied the knot in a romantic ceremony and reception in February last year.

And now, just over a year later, Natasha is pregnant!

The newlyweds announced this week the happy news that they're expecting their first child together, in a series of posts shared with fans and followers on Instagram.

The pair shared a video, showing photos from a photoshoot, ultrasound images and the moment they found out she was pregnant.

"Baby Thomas, due August ❤️ we love you so, so much," the pair captioned their joint post.

They also shared photos from a photoshoot where Natasha shows off her growing baby bump in a pair of beige trousers and a white T-shirt.

"Mum + dad," the post was captioned.

Underneath one post, Natasha added: ''Thinking of everyone who is waiting for their special one, we acknowledge how hard the journey can be and send love <3."

The pair received lots of congratulatory messages from fans and friends following the news.

"Best news ever. Nooooooooo this is my favourite news of a lifetime, stop this now, omfg omfg, I'm freaking out," Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby wrote, who appeared with Thomas on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! back in 2015.

Surfer Mick Fanning added: "Congrats brother. Really stoked for you all."

Love Island star Tayla Broad (nee Damir), who is married to Richmond star Nathan Broad added: "[love heart eye emojis] Congrats guys!"

The couple tied the knot a year ago in a stunning ceremony in country Victoria, at Mount William Station.

"MR AND MRS THOMAS ❤️," Natasha captioned one shot from their wedding day at the time.

For her big day, the new Mrs Thomas stunned in not one, but two white wedding dresses.

The couple announced their engagement in November 2022.

"Well… it's about time," he wrote in his post announcing the news.

He popped the question with a stunning diamond ring at the Lake House in Daylesford.

He reportedly has a daughter, Tilly, from a previous relationship.
