The poster's release also gave fans the opportunity to honour Disney's other Cruella, Glenn Close, who starred in the 1996 live-action remake of the original 1961 animation 101 Dalmations.
"Ok Glenn Close was the only Cruella that I was willing to accept but I'm intrigued by this," one user tweeted.

"I'm excited to see Emma Stone's portrayal as #Cruella, but I don't think anyone will ever match up to the Glenn Close. Her Cruella de Vil was perfection," another added.
