Critics Choice 2026 winners: The full list of winners and nominees

Awards season for 2026 has officially begun!

The Critics Choice Awards is done and dusted for another year, with a ceremony full of highlights and surprises.

Comedian Chelsea Handler returned as host for the fourth year in a row, but there was one major shift in this year's show with four new categories introduced: best variety series, best stunt design, best casting and ensemble, and best sound.

Two Aussies took home major wins, with Brisbane boy Jacob Elordi winning best supporting actor for his role as The Creature in Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein, and Sarah Snook winning best actress in a limited series for her role in All Her Fault.

Elordi began his speech the way any true Aussie would.

"Bloody hell. I really didn't plan for it," the 28-year-old said.

"Thank you, Guillermo del Toro. I love you. We all love you. You made my dreams when I was 11. I'm so happy to be here."

In terms of nominations, Ryan Coogler's hit vampire flick Sinners led the pack with a whopping 17 nominations, closely followed by Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another, with a total of 14.

In terms of TV, Netflix execs were sure to be smiling as the network's single-take drama Adolescence went into the ceremony with a total of six nominations, and hit comedy Nobody Wants This trailed close behind with five.

This year's event was particularly star-studded, with actors such as Adam Sandler, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Stone, Ariana Grande, and Sean Penn all nominated in their respective categories.
