Courtney Love warned other actresses about Harvey Weinstein back in 2005

New footage obtained by TMZ shows Courtney Love warning up-and-coming actresses of Harvey Weinstein’s bad behaviour.

The 2005 interview was filmed over a decade before some of Hollywood’s biggest stars came out to accuse the Hollywood film producer of sexual harassment, misconduct and rape.

In the video, taken from the red carpet of Comedy Central’s roast of Pamela Anderson, a then 41-year-old Courtney was asked by comedian Natasha Leggero what advice she has for young women trying to make it in Hollywood.

"Ummm… I’ll get libelled if I say it," she responds at first.

She then stops hesitating. "If Harvey Weinstein invites you to a private party in his Four Seasons [hotel room], don’t go."

The words, once waved off as a flippant remark, now carry new meaning.

Fellow actresses such as Cara Delevingne, Gwenyth Paltrow, Eva Green and Angelina Jolie have all accused the 65-year-old of making sexual advances towards them during 'meetings' in hotel rooms.

Now 53, the actress went on to tweet that "although she wasn’t one of his victims," powerful Hollywood talent agency CAA "eternally banned" her for speaking out against the producer.

Harvey is currently embroiled in a massive public controversy after New York Times published a bombshell report detailing accounts from numerous women who claimed he sexually harassed them.
