On Tuesday night, the band shared a short video to their social media accounts of Martin sitting at a piano inside Melbourne's Marvel Stadium.

"Hello Melbourne," the clip was captioned, short and sweet.

The Yellow singer began to play the opening notes of a tune that sounded very familiar.

For those Aussies who hadn't picked up on what song he was playing yet, Martin then started to whistle the melody of the iconic Neighbours theme song.

The very recognisable song by Barry Crocker is from the long-running Aussie soap opera Neighbours, which aired from 1985 to 2022 and made stars like Kylie Minogue and Margot Robbie household names.

What made the moment even more perfect is that the original show and its reboot were also filmed in Melbourne.
