Jon Cryer made 'a third' of Two and a Half Men co-star Charlie Sheen's salary, actor reveals in documentary

Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer has revealed his co-star Charlie Sheen made double his salary in their hit sitcom.

In the new Netflix series about Sheen's life, called aka Charlie Sheen, Cryer recalled the moment his former co-star landed a passive payday.

"He's in the midst of falling apart in every way that I can imagine, and he's renegotiating his contract for another year of a show that I'm supposed to be on too," Cryer says in the documentary.

Two and a Half Men was on television for 12 seasons, and wrapped up in 2015.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Charlie Sheen is reportedly worth $U3 million (approx. $4.6 million) as of 2025.

Sheen was already a star in Hollywood before landing his role on the sitcom, appearing in hits such as Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Wall Street.

The actor was earning a reported $1.25 million per episode on Two and a Half Men.

However, Sheen's contract was terminated in 2011 after he verbally attacked the show's creator and wound up in rehab for alcohol and drug abuse.

"After careful consideration, Warner Bros Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately," Warner Bros said in a statement at the time.

"It became one of the first internet s--- storms, plus there's the fact that all of our jobs are tied into this guy, and we're all his friends," he said.

He continued: "It was very, very strange and [there were] aspects of it that I absolutely hated, but you know, I'm thankful for the years that were great."

Once Sheen left the show, Ashton Kutcher was hired for the rest of the program's run as Walden Schmidt.
