Age is nothing but a number to Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas. A number they are reminded of every year on their shared September 25 birthday.

"A birthday kiss for my hubby," CJZ, who turned 47, captioned a pic kissing Michael, who turned 72, on the cheek. "Happy Birthday to you and me."

Married since 2000, the couple share kids Dylan, 16, and Carys, 13. And despite a brief 2013 split on the heels of Michael's tongue cancer battle and Catherine's bipolar diagnosis, the Oscar-winning duo now seems stronger than ever.

"It's a long road and I think people today are so quick to throw in the towel on marriage," Catherine told Good Housekeeping UK in March. "You have to give it your best shot and not give up when the first problem arises, because that won't be the last problem. There will be many more down the road."

In March, on the 16th anniversary of their engagement, they visited the Aspen, Colorado location where Michael proposed in 2000.

"I think love, without getting too corny, [is] nourishing each other, working at relationships, good sustenance, good food, good kids, all kind of a combination," Michael said earlier this year.
