Cara Delevingne confirms past romance with Amber Heard after a decade of rumours

Cara Delevingne revealed she did have a romantic relationship with actress Amber Heard after the star’s divorce with ex-husband Johnny Depp in 2016.

There’d been whispers about the nature of their relationship for a decade and the 33-year-old model finally cleared the matter in an interview with Louis Theroux on Monday, admitting their rumoured romance drove Depp “crazy by jealously”.

Podcast host Theroux asked if he could bring up “the Johnny Depp thing” alluding to Delevingne and Heard’s rumoured past relationship.

“He was driven crazy by the idea that Amber might be sleeping with you,” said the host.

The English model turned actress explained she and Heard were filming a movie together, London Fields, which Depp also starred in.

“I think he was pretty driven crazy by jealousy. Nothing was happening at that point. Later, after they divorced, it had, I suppose,” she confirmed before sharing further details.

“We were close for a long time, and then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled, I suppose. But she was also entangled with other people.”

Theroux asked if those ‘other people’ included Elon Musk, which Delevingne seemingly confirmed.

Heard, who’s last recorded role was in the 2023 Aquaman sequel, had split from Depp in 2016 after marrying the year before.

It’s reported she dated trillionaire and X co-founder Elon Musk until early 2018.

From April to May 2022, Heard and Depp faced off in a highly publicised defamation trial.

The actress now lives a quiet life away from the spotlight in Madrid, Spain. She welcomed twins in May last year.
