Cameron Diaz calls celeb nude photo leaks 'a major violation'

Cameron Diaz has spoken out against the mass hacking and leak of celebrity nude photos this week.

Following the illegal release of 101 celebs' naked pictures including Jennifer Lawrence, Cameron, 42, has called the scandal "a major violation".

"Whoever has done it, they will be caught and made examples of," Cameron said on Brit breakfast show This Morning. "If these guys can do it to this group of people than everyone's vulnerable to it."

Ironically, Cameron was promoting her new flick Sex Tape, which revolves around the leaking of a homemade movie.

Cameron's co-star Jason Segel also leapt to the defence of the victims of the hacking.

"It's very easy when you use the word 'celebrity' to take away the human aspect that this is an actual person," he said. "This is a person with a life."

It's been confirmed that the FBI are currently investigating reports that the theft was the work of an underground hacking and picture trading ring.

Let just hope they catch the cyber criminals soon.
