Brooklyn snubs brother Cruz’s biggest gig yet as David and Victoria jet back from Italy in support

While the Beckham family proudly cheered on Cruz Beckham at his band’s biggest gig yet, Brooklyn was snuggled up in bed with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

David, 51 and Victoria Beckham, 52, supported Cruz, 21, while his band The Breakers performed at Reading Festival on Saturday. They were joined by their youngest, Harper Beckham, Romeo Beckham and Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostle.

Cruz’s band have been touring the UK all summer off the back of their EP released last month, Wear & Tear.

Following the gig, Cruz took to The Breakers Instagram account to express his gratitude.

“No words for you Reading, felt like a fever dream,” he wrote.

Victoria also posted in celebration of her son’s gig, uploading pictures of her and Cruz in an embrace, followed by a picture of David and Cruz in an embrace.

David and Victoria jetted back from their summer holiday on the Amalfi Coast to watch Cruz perform at the festival, with the pair posting snaps from Italy literally hours before they were spotted at Reading Festival.

The pair posted snaps beachside on the Amalfi coast, with Romeo and Harper both joining them.

The billionaire family spent weeks sailing through Europe on a mega-yacht, but made it back just in time to support Cruz.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn Beckham was snuggled up with his wife, Nicola.

The eldest Beckham child posted pictures of the pair hugging beneath the sheets, as well as a photo of him cuddling a fluffy white dog.

It appears he did not attend the festival in support of his brother, adding to an already long list of family events he has skipped since the feud between himself, his wife and the rest of his family erupted in a very public manner.

The catalyst for the original ‘feud’ between Victoria and Nicola stemmed from her reported last-minute decision to snub the wedding dress her mother-in-law designed specifically for her, from her own designer label, and instead wear a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown down the aisle, along with two others by Dior and Versace.

The decision reportedly caused a lot of tension between the new family members.

Additional reports claimed Victoria was shunned from being involved in the wedding planning (which ended with Nicola’s father suing the wedding planners they had chosen), and that the Beckhams were not invited to sit at the top table with the Peltz family and their son at the wedding.

In Brooklyn’s statement, posted on January 20 (AEDT), he claimed that Victoria “cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress”.

Brooklyn also alleged that ahead of their big day, his parents “pressured and attempted to bribe [him] into signing away the rights to [his] name”.

As a result of his hesitation to do so, Brooklyn claims his parents haven’t treated him the same since.

Brooklyn also alleged that Victoria called him “evil” for choosing to include his and Nicola’s respective grandmothers at their wedding table, while the rest of their respective families sat at separate tables close by.

Meanwhile, the night before his wedding, Brooklyn alleged that members of the Beckham family told him that “Nicola was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family’“.

Then, during the wedding, Brooklyn claims Victoria “hijacked [his] first dance” with Nicola.

“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me” he wrote in his statement.

“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my life”.

Ever since the bombshell statement, the pair have kept their distance from the Beckham family.
