'We said yes to forever!': Olympic swimmer Brianna Throssell engaged
Olympic swimmer Brianna Throssell is engaged to partner Josh Milner, who proposed aboard a yacht on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
The couple has shared a series of photos of their special moment on social media.
The first photo shows Milner on bended knee, sliding the ring onto Throssell's finger. In the second photo the couple are kissing as the Olympic swimmer shows off her ring, an impressive diamond in an oval setting.

The couple, both wearing white, are clearly smitten as they embrace for further photos to capture the special moment.
"We said yes to forever!" Throssell captioned the post. "Here's to endless love, laughter, and making memories that will last a lifetime."

The engagement caps of an incredible 2023 for Throssell who claimed gold in the women's 4 x 200m freestyle relay alongside Mollie O'Callaghan, Lani Pallister, and Ariarne Titmus.
Ahead of Paris, Throssell had thanked Milner for his "unwavering support."

"Qualifying for my third Olympics is a dream come true, but I couldn't have done it alone," she shared.
"Moving across the country and managing a long-distance relationship had challenging, yet rewarding parts of this journey. To my incredible family, friends, coaches, and Josh, thank you for your unwavering support and belief in me. Your encouragement and love have been my greatest strength," she continued.
"This achievement is ours, and I'm grateful to have you all in my corner every step of the way."
The Olympic swimmer had previously won gold and bronze at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and represented Australia for the first time at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

She was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2022 Australia Day Honours.
Throssell and Milner have been enjoying some much needed down time in Italy including on the Amalfi Coast, Positano and Tuscany.
