“I’m available for part-time, night and weekend work,” wrote the John Wick 3 star.

Dillon detailed their 15 years of experience in the service industry, from working at a bakery, to “stocking the drink fridges”, “maintaining the coffee station” and “cleaning and restocking the restroom”.

“When I was fifteen, I got my first job in food service,” they wrote, revealing they stayed in the industry until 2015 when the star could support themselves with full-time acting work.

“I have worked exclusively in theatre, film and TV for the last eleven years,” the Orange Is the New Black star went on.

“Now, like for many, many performer colleagues of mine – particularly those of us who are trans/nonbinary/gender-nonconforming – acting work has all but diminished, and I’m in need of service work once more.”

Dillon then spoke of how much they love customer service.

“I imagine the hurdle to reentry will be learning the new POS systems, but I’m a quick study,” they continued.

“Thanks in advance for your consideration,” the star signed off.

Fans jumped to the comments section to rally behind the actor, offering a mix of job leads, messages of support, and praise for being so transparent.

“As a pure fan of your acting work, I’m shocked by this,” wrote one follower. “Not because food service work isn’t a great high-value job but because an actor of your calibre to be out of work is just astonishing to me.”
