Bill Skarsgard confirms he has an 11-month-old daughter

Bill Skarsgård just confirmed he has an 11-month-old baby.

During an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday night, the IT Chapter Two actor, 29, revealed that he and girlfriend Alida Morberg, 34, secretly welcomed their daughter last year.

Skarsgård — who plays Pennywise, one of the scariest clowns in cinematic history — was warned by Colbert not to let his daughter watch the Stephen King horror film, where his character feeds off children's terror.

"Well, I've gotten a bunch of fun merch throughout the years, so her little baby room is just filled with all these Pennywise teddy bears," Skarsgård said.

Colbert replied: "Well, that's nice. You're softening her up."

While Skarsgård has only just confirmed he's a parent, the baby news was initially reported by the Swedish outlet Aftonbladet in 2018.

The publication had minimal details at the time but revealed that Skarsgard and Morberg welcomed a baby on October 1, 2018.

Skarsgård and Morberg have been romantically linked since 2016. They were recently photographed together at the IT Chapter Two premiere in September.

Morberg previously spoke about the fact that she's not a horror film fan.

One the day IT Chapter Two first premiered, she shared a picture with Skarsgård in his Pennywise costume with the caption: "Congratulations baby!"

IT Chapter 2 has been well received by critics, with fans already calling for a third instalment.
