Awesome trailer alert! Sylvester Stallone is back in Rocky spin-off Creed

With his old mate Arnold Schwarzenegger back on our screens in Terminator: Genisys, Sylvester Stallone has also returned to the franchise that made one of the biggest action stars of all time.

Oh hell yes, Sly has reprised his famous role of Rocky Balboa in Creed, the seventh film in the boxing film series. *FIST PUMP*

While there are no shirtless muscle shots of Sly (he's 68, give him a break), he acts as trainer to young and frequently shirtless boxer Adonis Johnson (Friday Night Lights' Michael B Jordan).

Adonis is the son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), who died in the ring in Rocky IV (1985). It's all come full circle in the new movie. Watch the trailer above - it really packs a punch.

Creed hits Australian cinemas on November 26, 2015.
