All the stars who brought family members as plus ones to the Oscars

The 2024 Oscars red carpet saw it all from falls, to stunning jewellery, and lots of sequins.
While many of the stars took their partners as their dates for Hollywood's night of nights, some sweetly gave their plus one ticket to their nearest and dearest.
From Bradley Cooper to Ryan Gosling, some of the biggest faces in entertainment were snapped walking the red carpet with members of their family in tow.

Ryan Gosling, his sister, mother, and Valerio Attanasio
Ryan Gosling brought his sister Mandi and his mother Donna along for his big night.
Not only was the actor nominated for his role in Barbie, but he also gave a memorable performance of his character's ballad I'm Just Ken during the ceremony.
But there was one very noticeable person missing for his big night: his longtime partner.

While Ryan Gosling was posing with his sister Mandi on the red carpet, his partner Eva Mendes was not in sight.
On Instagram last year during the Barbie press tour, Mendes replied to a comment on one of her posts about why we don't see the private couple making red carpet appearances together.
"We don't do those things together," Mendes explained to one fan who asked if she would be joining her beau at a premiere.
"Like these photos I've been posting, I'm only comfortable posting because it's already out there."
Beneath the post, which was a video from her and Gosling's 2012 film The Place Beyond the Pines, Mendes clarified the pair had been on a red carpet together in the past.
"Oh, wait—for those who may catch me in a 'lie'—we only were on the red carpet together once when promoting this film."
Andrea Bocelli and his son
Andrea Bocelli brought his son Matteo Bocelli to the 2024 Academy Awards.
The singer performed for the In Memoriam segment of the awards ceremony.
David Alan Grier and his daughter
Jumanji actor David Alan Grier attended the 96th Oscars arm-in-arm with his daughter Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim.
Alexander Payne and his daughter
American director Alexander Payne walked the red carpet with his six-year-old daughter, who he shares with ex-wife Maria Kontos.
Marlee Matlin and her son
CODA actress Marlee Matlin attended the 2024 Oscars with her 21-year-old son Tyler Daniel Grandalski.
The mother-son duo even matched in purple for the occasion.
Jeffrey Wright and his children
American Fiction actor Jeffrey Wright didn't just bring one family member to Hollywood's biggest night.
The star attended with both his children, son Elijah Wright, and daughter Juno Wright.
Bradley Cooper and Gloria Campano
Bradley Cooper once again brought his mother Gloria Campano as his date to another awards show this year.
The Maestro actor last brought his mum as his plus one to the Golden Globes earlier this year.
This isn't the first Oscars red carpet Campano has attended with her son however, last joining Cooper two years ago at the 2022 Academy Awards.
Rita Moreno and her daughter
Rita Moreno waved to the cameras as she posed on the carpet with her daughter Fernanda Luisa Gordo.
The mother-daughter contrasted their looks on the 2024 Oscars red carpet , with Moreno opting for all-black while her daughter dressed in white feathers.
