Aussie model Jessica Hart reveals her plans to come back to Australia: 'I'm going back to my roots, my heritage'

It seems home is where the heart is for Aussie model, Jessica Hart.

The 39-year-old, who is based in LA, has revealed in a candid new interview that she's planning on setting up a permanent base for herself and her children in Australia, near Ballarat, Victoria.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar Australia, the Victoria's Secret model says she has plans to renovate a property in Ballarat to be closer to her family.

"I'm going back to my roots, my heritage," Hart told the publication.

The mother-of-two, who is also a stepmother, is reportedly looking to be based between Los Angeles and Australia and added: "I want my children to be half-Australian and half-American — not just Americans with Australian passports."

"I want them to be immersed in Australian culture and grow up the way we did," she added.

In April, during a trip to Australia she took them for a trip to Crown and shared a post, writing in a post: "Three little monkeys... just busy creating winter memories in Australia."

When she announced her pregnancy saying she was expecting her first child, Hart said it was "a blessing".

"We're so unbelievably grateful and happy!"

Hart is one of Australia's top modelling exports who has modelled for the likes of lingerie fashion giant Victoria's Secret, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Seafolly.

In recent years she's been in a relationship with NASCAR driver James Kirkham, who is the father of her children, but it remains unclear if they are still together.

Before moving to Los Angeles, she was based in New York for over a decade for her career.
