Belinda Russell reveals Alex Rodriguez slid into her Instagram DMs: 'Great feed'
Today Extra host Belinda Russell revealed she received a direct message on Instagram from Alex Rodriguez.
The TV presenter confirmed the NFL star got in contact to praise her for a "great feed" on Instagram, following his split from Jennifer Lopez. Russell received the message after she posted a recent video of her dancing in the studio.
"You've had somewhat of a celebrity encounter," her co-host Richard Wilkins asked. Watch above!

"An A-list star has slid into your direct messages on what... Instagram?" he inquired.
Russell responded, "I woke up this morning, checking the socials and in my requests, there was a message from Alex Rodriguez. As in A-Rod. As in J.Lo's ex."
Rodriguez simply wrote, "Great feed!!!'

Russell flashed the Instagram message and joked, "All I can say is... he likes great content, Dickie. He just said great feed!"
"I went, 'This can't be real,' so I tapped on it and [his account] is verified," she said. "If you count [there are] four million followers. Give me a shout-out, A-Rod, and get me some followers!"

Rodriguez, 45, and Lopez, 51, officially called off their engagement after months of speculation about their relationship status. The pair announced their split on Thursday, April 15 in a joint statement to Today.

"We have realised we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so," they said in the statement. "We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another's children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."
Lopez has since been linked to Ben Affleck after being spotted with him at her Los Angeles home and on a getaway in Montana.
