Former AFL star Wayne Carey and girlfriend Jessica Paulke expecting second child together: 'Incredibly ecstatic'
Former AFL star Wayne Carey and model Jessica Paulke have shared exciting baby news following their reunion last year.
In a new interview with the Herald Sun over the weekend, Carey, 53, revealed the pair are expecting their second child together in January.
The couple, who are 53 and 33, respectively already share son Carter, five.

"We are both incredibly ecstatic, as is Carter who is looking forward to having a sibling in January," Carey told the outlet.
"Mum is healthy and happy," he added.
According to the outlet, Carey will reveal the sex of the baby on the latest episode of his podcast Uncensored with Wayne Carey on Monday.
The major life update comes just months after the pair separated then reunited late last year following Carey's split from social media star Catie O'Neill.
The pair, who have been quite private over the years, have since been living together in Melbourne.
This will be the second child for model Paulke but fourth for the former AFL star.

Carey also shares two daughters from his previous relationships.
The Aussie athlete has daughter Ella, 18, from his first marriage to Sally McMahon.
Carey and McMahon welcomed their daughter after their split in 2006 following his affair with former North Melbourne teammate Anthony Stevens' wife Kelli.

The AFL legend later welcomed his second daughter Charlotte, nine, with Stephanie Edwards.
Carey and Edwards started dating in 2011 and finally got engaged in 2015. However, the pair called it quits just a year later in 2016.

Writing for The Age in 2022, the Aussie opened up about his parenting approach while comparing fatherhood to the current generation of AFL.
"But just like in parenting, we're much softer with our kids now than what many people had come to expect in generations past," he wrote.
"It's something I often think about, as the way I bring my kids up couldn't be any more different to how I was raised."
