Bloke realises why the veneers he bought online were so cheap

Here's why you should always be wary of buying things online.

This lesson is brought to you by Ben Watson, a 19-year-old student who was after the sparkle of a Hollywood smile.

He decided to fork out for some veneers, opting for a bargain set he found online for roughly $70.

They didn't look quite that good in real life.

Watson's best mate Mollie Cooper tweeted a photo of veneers in action and let's just say you can see why her photo went viral:

The photos have clocked up more than 7,800 likes since last week and lead to this glorious video a day later.

The clip, showing Watson and he schmicko veneers on a night out, attracted more than 20,000 views.

Now, Watson's something of a "buyer beware poster" boy.

Speaking to Mimi Launder at Indy100, he said he thought he'd snagged a sweet deal.

"I thought it'd be a really good investment," he said.

"I thought, for the sake of going out, I'll put these in and thought nobody will be able to tell the difference."

But they could tell the difference.

Obviously.

They were such magnificent crap that they couldn't be ignored.
