Laura Byrne’s priceless reaction to Britt Hockley’s secret pregnancy reveal
Aussie radio host and podcaster Brittany Hockley has revealed her pregnancy to best friend and Life Uncut co-host Laura Byrne live on the podcast.
The emotional moment was captured on camera as the pair recorded the latest episode of the show and Hockley, 38, read out a special message from a “brand new” fan of the podcast – who was secretly her unborn child.

“I wanted to take a second to write this review because I am a brand-new Lifer,” Hockley began reading the fake review.
“I’ve been listening for the last few months and I just wanted to say how much I love the show and the community and what they mean to me already.
“Britt, hearing you be so open and vulnerable about your fertility journey, your long journey to getting healthy embryos, your most recent infertility news, hearing everything you guys have gone through, has made me feel so lucky.
“I know how hard it’s been for you as I’ve been on the journey. In sharing your story, you brought comfort, hope and somehow even laughter to thousands of people going through the hard times as well.“
The review then shifted gears, addressing Byrne directly.
“Laura, I know you worry you can’t always show up as a friend the way you think you want to, but the way you love Britt is written all over this show,” Hockley read, her voice heavy with emotion.
“You hold space, you carry the heavy moments with grace, and you always bring laughter and light when it’s needed most. What you have created and your bond makes Life Uncut feel like a real home and a family.”
Then it was finally time for Hockley to reveal who the review had really come from.

“That’s why, after spending my first few months listening to your voices every single day, I can’t wait to spend the next six months growing and join the Life Uncut family as the newest tiny member. See you in 2027.”
There was a moment of silence before Byrne realised exactly what Hockley was saying, at which point she couldn’t hold back her excitement and emotion.
Hockley’s husband Ben Siegrist then burst into the room with confetti and planted a kiss on her cheek as he joined the celebrations.
The whole team congratulated Hockley, who admitted it had been hard to keep the happy news a secret from Byrne and the rest of the Life Uncut team for the first few months of her pregnancy.
Hockley announced she is expecting her first child with Swiss footballer husband Siegrist publicly on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Can’t believe we are saying this, but it’s time for the next chapter… Baby squid is on its way!” the couple shared in a sweet video showing off her belly.

Hockley and Siegrist, 34, tied the knot in a lavish Bali wedding last June and split their time between Australia and Europe, where he plays professional soccer.
The former Bachelor star previously shared her struggles with infertility, so the news she is expecting was met with plenty of support from friends and followers.
