Daisy and Aurora | Independant Twins
Age: 29
From: QLD/NSW
Daisy and Aurora spent their lives embracing their individuality and only found out they were identical recently. For 29 years they thought they were fraternal.
Both played guitar and sang and they had a song in the Triple J Unearthed finals.
Academically they both got the same OP score, but when they saw the results they thought it was rigged so that they wouldn't feel bad. Daisy and Aurora did the same subjects at school and were top in art in their class. When they went to uni they did different degrees.
Ashleigh and Taegan | Mirror Twins
Age: 34
From: NSW
Ashleigh and Taegan are 'mirror twins' meaning that they have distinctly opposite physical features, creating a mirror-like reflection of one another.
When Ashleigh was living in the UK she got a severely swollen foot. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong. It turned out Taegan had stepped on a bee (they are both allergic) and as soon as Ashleigh found out her foot went down.
When Taegan had a car accident it turned out that day Ashleigh hadn't driven all day because she dreamt she had a car accident.
Their parents say things like this have been going on since they were small when they lost and gained teeth together on the same day but on different sides of their mouth.

These identical twins are best friends who have always felt each other's physical and emotional pain.
Their mother said that when they were little, one would fall over and hit their head and the other would grab their head and scream.
This connection became lifesaving when Brenton was experiencing headaches and knew something was wrong. The surprise came when scans revealed that it was Craig who had a large brain tumour even though Brenton was the one who felt sick.
