'Y'all have too much time': 1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton shuts down 'silly rumours' with single photo

1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has hit back at rumours after fans spotted bruising on her face in a video posted online.

Sharing a smiley photo of herself to TikTok, the 39-year-old revealed there was a simple explanation for the bruises:

"People keep making up silly rumours. Yes I had a bruise on my face, I had them to [have] work done [and] teeth pulled, y'all have too much time on your hands lol."

Tammy, who has lost over 225 kilograms, rose above her critics by posting a smiley photo of herself showing off the results of a recent teeth transformation.

The reality star's 536,000 TikTok followers rallied around her in the comment section.

"You look amazing. We are all so proud of you," one wrote.

While another said, "It's crazy amazing how much you have changed, not only in your looks, but your attitude!! You seem to FINALLY be enjoying life and what it has to offer you, and I'm here for it!!! LOVE IT!!!"

Fans clock concerning detail in Tammy's video

Tammy and her fiancée Andrea Dalton were singing along to the 1984 hit 'Footloose' in a TikTok video when fans clocked a concerning detail.

"Are you OK? what happened in your chin?" one follower asked.

"You look happy and look good. But why do you have a bruise on your face ??" wrote another.

Of course Tammy later explained there was nothing to be worried about and it was simply because of her recent dental work.

Tammy debuts her smile makeover

Tammy first opened up about her smile transformation on the Creative Chaos podcast.

During her interview with host Hunter Ezell, Tammy shared that she'd gotten her smile makeover in August 2025.

"They're temporary still," Tammy explained. "But they had to cement them in because the glue wasn't holding… they had to pull teeth, and it's a bridge. I'm still getting more done. It's a process."

While Tammy was chuffed with her new teeth she did admit that online comments over her previously gappy smile used to sting.

"I find it absolutely repulsive the amount of people that comment on your videos, 'When's she going to fix her teeth?' Do you not think she knows that?" Hunter said.

Tammy replied, "It's not easy. It's not."

Tammy's new smile isn't the only transformation she's unveiled lately. Four months ago the star underwent life-changing skin removal surgery.

Tammy's personal life

In July 2025, confirmed her engagement to girlfriend Andrea just months after their relationship went public.

Tammy, 39, let the news slip while speaking on the Creative Chaos podcast.

When talking about her relationship, the reality star referred to Andrea as her "fiancée", stopping the host in his tracks.

Tammy blushed as she confirmed the exciting news and held up her sparkling engagement ring.

"My and my fiancée we kind of just chill at home..." Tammy began. That's when the host jumped in: "Hold on, you said fiancée?"

The news came as a shock to the host and to Tammy's millions of fans who only recently learned about Tammy and Andrea's relationship although it turns out the couple have been an item for "almost three years" now.

Before Tammy made her relationship with Andrea official, she expressed concerns that her family wouldn't be accepting of her dating a woman.

Her relationship with Andrea was Tammy's first connection since the death of her husband Caleb Willingham in June 2023.
