Bushfire north of Perth under control

A bushfire north of Perth has been brought under control but is yet to be contained, fire authorities say.
The fire was reported at 3.30pm on Thursday at Jindalee in the city of Wanneroo, with aerial support sent to assist ground crews.
A watch and act warning has since been downgraded to an advice warning.

Residents in Jindalee and Butler are advised the fire is burning in bushland west of Marmion Avenue, moving slowly in a westerly direction.
Marmion Avenue is closed between Jindalee Boulevard and Butler Boulevard and about 70 firefighters are at the scene.
Authorities say the cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious.
