Child dies after being hit by car in Sydney’s west
A three-year-old girl has died after being hit by a car in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to Normandy Road in Auburn at about 2.05pm, where they were told the girl had been hit by a car as it was entering a driveway.

The girl was treated at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
The girl died from her injuries in hospital.
The driver of the car, a 27-year-old man, was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established, with an investigation into the incident underway.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
