Will Ferrell’s exclusive catch up with Today
Everyone’s favourite funnyman, Will Ferrell, is back with a brand-new comedy series that is guaranteed to leave you in hysterics.
Will has teamed up with fellow Saturday Night Live alum, Molly Shannon, for The Hawk, which centres around a washed-up golf pro who is on a mission to prove he’s still got what it takes to be a great.

US correspondent Reid Butler sat down with the pair at the Pelican Hill Golf Resort in LA for a breakfast TV exclusive.
“I will watch anything with Will Ferrell in it, anything with Molly Shannon... but put them together and it’s perfection,” Reid told his guests.
The Hawk is the brainchild of Will, who steps into the lead as the very chaotic Lonnie Hawkins, with Molly playing his extremely patient wife, Stacey.
“To get to kind of return to an irreverent, no-holds-barred comedy where there really are no boundaries for us to just kind of have a great time and all these characters to be messy and imperfect was heaven,” Will said.
The pair is no stranger to making comedy gold together, after first meeting over 30 years ago in Saturday Night Live’s famed Studio 8H.
“It was so, so fun to perform on The Hawk,” Molly said.
“I wanted to do a good job, Will thought that I could do that, so I just felt like I just wanted to do my best... but it is very hard to scream at Will... I don’t really like to do that.”
