Sisters of Aussie tourist missing in Las Vegas say someone knows something
Amy and Lauren Contarino say they believe somebody knows something about what happened to their sister Sally.
Reid Butler is a Walkley award winning journalist who started his career early, working as an associate producer at the Nine newsroom in Sydney from the age of 18.
After a year producing across various programs, Reid took on the role of the Today Show news line-up, where he directed a team of producers and decided which stories to feature in the half-hourly Today Show news bulletins.
His next step was to move to A Current Affair in Sydney as a producer, pitching stories and assisting reporters.
On the weekends, Reid would hit the road as Weekend Today's Sydney chase reporter. This led to a permanent reporting role in Melbourne's A Current Affair bureau in 2015.
In 2020, Reid joined the Melbourne newsroom as one of their television reporters and in 2024, was appointed U.S. Correspondent.
He's reported from Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Indonesia, London and Ireland.
Reid was part of the "Building Bad" team that exposed wrongdoing within the CFMEU. The team won two Walkleys in 2024, including the Gold Walkley.
