A customer recall warning has been issued for minced meat sold at independent stores, including IGA supermarkets in Queensland.

Warwick Meats QLD is alerting customers that its Premium 4 Star Mince Beef 500g with the date tag Best Before 13/12/2025 may be contaminated with plastic.

"Food products containing plastic may cause illness or injury if consumed," the notification says.
