Major search for man missing in Daintree bushland for two days
A major search is continuing in Queensland’s Daintree for a man who disappeared into bushland two days ago.
Ariel Simon, 31, was last seen entering bushland near Cape Tribulation Road at Cow Bay about 1.30pm on Monday.

He did not return and was reported missing later that afternoon, prompting a search involving emergency crews and helicopters.
Police and SES volunteers have spent the past two days combing the area, with the Rescue 510 helicopter and PolAir also involved.
Simon is described as about 210cm tall with a slim build and long blonde hair.
His family is concerned for his welfare and says his disappearance is out of character.
