Women threatened with gun at Sydney flat

A man has allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened a group of women at an apartment block in Sydney's east after an argument broke out in the middle of the day.

Three women were talking in a common area of a South Coogee unit block at about 11am Wednesday when they got into an argument with a man who allegedly produced a gun and threatened them before pushing one of the women as he walked away.

A 43-year-old man has been charged with numerous offences including possessing an unregistered firearm and stalking, with police seizing a firearm, a safe and a voice recorder.

He's been refused bail and is due to face Waverley Local Court on Thursday.
