Woman assaulted in Sydney park

A woman has been indecently assaulted in a park in Sydney's northwest.

The 27-year-old woman was at Hanna Park in North Richmond around 11.20pm on Sunday when she was indecently assaulted by a man who also tried to sexually assault her, before fleeing, police say.

Investigators are now hunting a man described as being about 170cm tall, of medium build, who was wearing parachute pants and a black jacket.
