Two removed from blazing Sydney unit

Police have forcibly removed two people from their blazing apartment in Sydney's west.

The man and woman sustained minor injuries as a result of being dragged from their Mt Druitt unit early on Tuesday morning.

They were taken to hospital while the building was evacuated and police set up a crime scene.
