Two NSW officers have been injured after a young driver crashed into the back of their police car on the Central Coast.
The senior constables, a 40-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, were responding to a car on fire off a road in Patonga on Thursday evening when the crash happened, police say.
The injured officers were taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition, while the 21-year-old driver was taken for mandatory drugs and alcohol testing.
